Q. What pick should Albert Puljous be taken in fantasy drafts?
Asked by Bignizz66 - Tue Mar 11 15:24:51 2008 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Albert should be taken around the 10th pick, maybe even a few lower. This is because he is a risk to be out for the season if his elbow blows out. He currently has a torn ligament and arthritis in his elbow, so if your willing to take the risk then draft him 10, but if not i would stay away from him and get someone who isn't a injury risk.

Will Brandon Albert be available with the 23rd pick in the NFL draft?
Q. The Steelers need this guy bad.
Asked by The Authority - Fri Apr 4 09:49:03 2008 - - 6 Answers - 0 Comments

A. I don't really see any team that has pressing needs for a Guard before the Steelers. But, some team my take him because he is the best player availble. Guards dont typically get drafted very high becuase I guess its easier to find a big truck to plow wholes in the d line than it is to protect the quaterbacks blind side.

A. he was great for the Titans and sucks for the Redskins, the Lions have the Titans former d coor. so yea they should do it, A second rd pick is worth the chance of getting the best defensive tackle in football when he wants to be. And I agree with Richard, draft Berry, hes the best player in the draft without a doubt

Albert Pujols, David Wright or Jose Reyes for my first pick in my fantasy baseball draft?
Q. its my first time so i need some help
Asked by Robbie - Sun Apr 13 08:58:55 2008 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Pujols is off to a good start, but for him, he had a sub par year last year. There are even concerns he might be fighting an injury. So, for me, it comes down to Reyes or Wright. I love Reyes, but would probably go with Wright. Wright gives you stats from third base (not a great fantasy position). He hits hrs, doubles, and provides a few steals too. You can't really go wrong with drafting either player. Good luck.

Who do you think the San Francisco 49ers will draft with the 8th overall pick in the NFL Draft?
Q. Or will they trade their draft pick for a player like albert haynsworth or possibly Michael Vick?
Asked by Dee - Thu Feb 19 02:24:57 2009 - - 9 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Well first of all, Albert Haynsworth is out of the picture, he will be resigned by the titans. It basiclly comes down to, if they can get Vick, they will do anything, if they cant get Vick they will either draft Mark Sanchez or if hes gone Flordia State DE Everett Brown. Who knows how it could play out though? Thats just an educated guess.

Who should I take with the 2nd pick in my fantasy baseball draft?
Q. I originally had the 6th pick in the draft, but was offered the 2nd pick pretty cheap. A-Rod will go #1, who should I take in the #2 spot? Albert Puljols scares me a LOT, leaning towards a SS.
Asked by fearthefin4 - Fri Feb 29 13:10:25 2008 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Obiviously, if A-Rod goes number one, then get the next best player in the draft...3B David Wright. - He comes a little cheaper than A-Rod and can easily fill all the five-tool statistics you need to win (HR, RBI, batting average, SB, Runs) than any other player feature in the draft. He was one of only three player to accomplish a 30-30 (30 HR, 34 SB) season in 2007 (the other was MVP Jimmy Rollins and Reds 2B Brandon Phillips). - Wright is barely reaching his peak at 25 and hasn't had a bad season during his brief career. - The lineup of Reyes, Beltran, and Delgado should help Wright improve his game again this season. A-Rod is expected to be taken in the first, but don't bypass Wright if you want a player that can carry a team.

A. If you're in a deeper league (12+), you might want to stay away from outfielders and first basemen at first pick, considering there are a bunch of good offensive players at those positions. Longoria, Zimmerman, Utley, and Mauer are guys you may want to consider. If your league is especially deep (16+), go with Utley, because you'll have a big advantage in your league if you have the top offensive player of a position with only around 4-5 good ones per year.

A. It depends on what your definition of "valuable" is. Is it the player with the best stats? Or the player who is most valuable to their respective team. I pick the latter. So with that in mind... AL MVP: Justin Morneau, Minnesota Twins. At .316, 30, 101 he has the stats. Without him the Twins wouldn't be close to contending for a playoff spot. Ortiz has the stats, but being a DH, he'll never get enough votes to win. NL MVP: Albert Pujols. The best player in the game today. The Cards struggle to score runs with him in the line-up. Imagine how bad they would be without him. Beltran and David Wright of the Mets merit consideration, but the teams line-up is strong enough that they would still win their share of games if either were out for an… [cont.]

Who would you rate 3rd after Albert Pujols and Hanley Ramirez?
Q. Most everyone has Pujols and Ramirez rated 1 and/or 2 on their fantasy baseball draft boards. But I'm seeing a lot of different players taken with the third pick of the draft. The most common players taken have been A-Rod, Chase Utley, Joe Mauer, Ryan Braun, and Tim Lincecum. If you had the third pick in your fantasy league draft, who would you pick?
Asked by Ed - Wed Feb 24 04:25:57 2010 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Ryan Braun has only grown since he got called up and i expect him to keep growing so i would take him. Chase Utley would probably be the safest pick tho and it would guarentee solid production from ur 2b, which a lot of ppl wont be able to say

Who would be your first pick in fantasy baseball?
Q. I really wanna get Soriano, but some say he won't be able to repeat what he did last year. THese are my top three 1. Alfonso Soriano 2. Ryan Howard 3. Albert Pujols
Asked by tari36867 - Sat Feb 17 18:49:19 2007 - - 16 Answers - 0 Comments

A. I would go with Soriano, due to the fact that if he leads off, he has Derek Lee and Aramis Ramiraz to hit him in. He is going to score a ton of runs next year; also he has developed into quite the homerun hitter, and when the wind blows, Soriano's bat will rock.

A. Gotta take Big Al Pujols. He is in his prime, has the best bat in the majors, and plays on a team with a decent lineup. Lucky you. If you look at any websites with rankings, you will see Pujols ranked first 100% of the time. Think about that. Build around the rock big AL.
